Good news! The CTL One Button Studios are open, to NWU staff and Students.

The One Button Studio (OBS) is a simplified,self-service and automated video recording setup that can be used without any previous video production experience.
The design of the studio allows one to create high-quality and polished video projects without having to know anything about film, lights or cameras. All that is expected from the user is a flash drive and the push of a single button.

Please collect the keys from the assistants at the studios.
A session is 50 minutes long.Be sure to return the keys on time.

Note: A Daily maximum of 2 hours can be booked.

Terms and conditions for using this room

This room is to be used for video recordings and presentations by staff and students of the NWU: Vaal Triangle Campus unless permission is granted by the One Button Studio (CTL-VTC) manager.
Access to the Library is obtained via your university card.
Bookings will be cancelled ten (10) minutes after the initial booking time if the group/student/academic has not arrived.
Keys may be collected from and handed back to the OBS Support Staff who will meet you outside the studios and should not be taken out of the Library. The keys may only be collected by the person who booked the room. Please return them promptly to the OBS Support Staff outside the studio after your session has ended. Should you finish before the session time ended, please use Skype to call the OBS Support Staff who will then meet you at the studio to collect the key. .
The person who booked the room and signed for the key takes the responsibility for the condition of the room and the conduct of the parties involved.
The video recording equipment must be used according to the prescribed procedures. When leaving the room the lights and recording apparatus should be left ON.
The room should be left in the same good condition as it was before use. If the tables and chairs (furniture) are moved around, everything should be moved back before leaving.
If you have problems booking a room, contact CTL at 016 910 3038.
CTL is not responsible for loss or damage of items left unattended in the room.
If you do not adhere to our terms and conditions or book a room for someone else in your name, you will be blacklisted and your services suspended.
